The most important core element of international competitiveness is the global-standard quality. Fundamental components of quality management include accurate adherence to process and precise measurement and evaluation. And it is the system, process, and quality mentality of the employees that play the crucial role.
As such, Saltlux strictly follows the Saltlux standard process manual, which employs the ISO 9001:200 standard and Six Sigma, to maintain an independent quality assurance system for each process in pursuit of total quality management (TQM). We also obtain latest information and data from specialized organizations such as STC in USA , LISA in Switzerland , and Korean Standards Association on a regular basis, and run the credit-based Saltlux Service School (SSS) to provide our employees with continuous training on TQM.

Six Sigma |

Saltlux uses Six Sigma training in order to improve and maintain quality level for technical translation, software localization, and technical writing services. Our Six Sigma activities coincide with Saltlux's total quality management principles that manage service quality through the system, process, and training. This minimizes differences of service quality from employee to employee and allows for management of every activity according to the company's standard process.

Process Manual |

Saltlux not only provides the process map for the overall production and present guideline for each task but also maintains a detailed process manual for each process. Regular training sessions are conducted for our employees so that they are aware of important issues for each process and follow the standard process at all times. The process manuals make it possible even for the least experienced new employees to achieve their optimum performance in the shortest time.

Independent Quality Assurance System |

Our dedicated quality management (QM) team executes quality assurance (QA) when undertaking all language solution tasks including technical translation, software localization, and technical writing services. The quality assurance system is fully integrated into the internal operation of all Saltlux activities and we issue independent certificate of quality. This is Saltlux's unique quality management system for aiding future quality management activities and minimizing potential quality issues.

Database Utilization |

All project data delivered to clients are archived in databases. These data are stored in the Saltlux database servers with maximum security and are utilized as reference for similar projects by the same client in the future. Use of such databases, especially for repeating projects over a long period of time, can lead to considerable reduction of costs and decrease in production time on the client's part. While such data can directly be extracted from the final output files, they are usually better extracted by using CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tools.
