Software Localization |
Localization refers to all activities and processes of making modifications to software components, such as software applications, computer operating systems, and web browser applications, in terms of language, functionality, specifications, and culture, so that they can adequately be used in the target language and context.
In 1984, Saltlux was the first company in Korea to be appointed by IBM Korea as its exclusive software Korean localization firm. Subsequently, Saltlux undertook various software Korean localization projects for DEC Korea, Lotus Korea , Microsoft, Samsung and many other multinational corporations. Some of our recent large-scale Korean localization projects include products of Borland Korea , Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Linux Korea , Samsung Logistics, and Daewoo Information Systems.
Saltlux's TD Business Department puts capable consultants with professional knowledge and experience, technical translators for various languages, and software engineers together to provide full support in both technical and linguistic aspects.
